As promised here is my trigger fish all done

I made this last week in Judy Gale Roberts beginners class. The entire project is western red cedar except for the eye. Western red cedar has some amazing color variations. There is no stain, paint of dye used. The eye itself is made of a walnut dowel with a small piece of holly added for a highlight.

 

I can see me doing more intarsia in the future.

Fantastic Scott. Yes, cedar is such a beautiful wood with all it's variations of color and grain. I love when a finish is applied to cedar. It's then totally awesome.
