1st piece

OK trying to post without my dads help. I lost this post once already. The picture seems a bit small to look at and huge to open. Good thing saws do not take a lot of techi knowledge.

 

This is my first piece. Not a lot to it, but am giving it to mom for her birthday. Having the first piece will be special to her. You know how moms are.

My dad made the same piece when he made his first one. She said she is going to hang them together.

Great job on your first piece. I had some trouble on my first couple of posts around here too.  Had issues with my photos showing I think.  Looks like you have it figured out now.  Good to "see" you as well.  Your piece will look good with your Dad's and then one day you will look at them and see how far you have come and how much you have enjoyed sharing this hobby with your dad.  Keep up the good work and the sharing!

My "first piece" was lost 60+years ago!  Very well dona as they have all already stated!

 

Scroll work becomes addictive-- cheaper than many other "hobbies" and can be done at home too.

 

Did you get one of Dick's old saws, or did you get a nice new one?
