bronx Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) Like many here at The Village i'm also a Vet. I remember that day at Ft. Hamilton in Brooklyn, NY I took the oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. I still hold that oath close to my heart and wanted to honor the men and woman that are now defending that same Constitution I had the privilege to defend. Now i'm liking the backdrop of the pallets and since I can't build a frame for the life of me. Can't get the corner to line up correctly. I think i'm going to stay with this type of backdrop for now. Well here is my project. P.S. I almost forgot. The pattern is from Steve Good's site. Edited September 9, 2016 by bronx vykus, Fab4 and lawson56 3 Quote

meflick Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 First, thank you for your service and for all of the vets here thank you. As we approach the 15th anniversary of 9/11, I am thankful for the men and women who have served and protected our country and freedoms. Second, that is a beautiful piece of art that you have created. I like it just like it is - no "frame" needed. I like it on the pallet wood as is. Thanks for sharing your photo of your project. bronx 1 Quote

heppnerguy Posted September 9, 2016 Report Posted September 9, 2016 I love the way you made your display for your cutting. It really makes this an unusually nice project. Isi much nicer than a backer board like I usually do. Top notch Dick heppnerguy Quote
