rustynail Posted October 26, 2016 Report Posted October 26, 2016 Lee, nice job on the light house. Not trying to steal your post but I see you did a Kathy Wise design. I have been wanting to learn Intarsia and just joined this site and have been reviewing artist that teach Intarsia in the mid Michigan area and Kathy is one by you that offers class. I was just wondering if you have ever taken one of her class being you live so close and just did one of her designs? Richard Quote
trailfndr Posted October 27, 2016 Author Report Posted October 27, 2016 Richard, Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to take a class from Kathy. One day I would like to, it simply has not happened as yet. I use patterns from many different designers, and will continue to do so based on the desires of my customers, and on my own personal whims. I am so far, self taught in this art form, and I feel I have progressed fairly well. But like all of us, there is ALWAYS room for improvement. You are in the right place to learn the craft. Please don't hesitate to ask questions, as many on this site are more than willing to help. GrampaJim 1 Quote
