Best show ever

Just came off my best show ever, it was a two day show, and did a total of $646 for both days, Saturday was the better one. Got cleaned out on my Christmas items, one lady bought 22 ornaments, and sold quite a bit of bigger items, and still have two more shows to go.Will post pictures when I take them off the phone.    edward

Oh that's great Edward! I only do two shows a year and I'm already gearing up to make up from what I sold. I can't imagin what you have to do to make up for your next show!

Wow, very good. It is good hearing so many of you doing well on the circuit this year. It looks like people are opening their wallets a bit more. 

 

When I was in full swing of doing this and really hitting the circuits I use to also do consignment stores. I was in 3 high profile malls and 2 stores in each mall. The owner had a store on each of the 2 floors of the mall. In addition I did 5 craft shows all in a space of 5 weeks. Thanksgiving to Christmas was my banner weeks and will tell you what a strain that was. Having to go to the malls to restock and they were not all very close. Also trying to add inventory on the fly or filling orders was a strain. I also was working a 8hour job. I still do not know how I did it but I did and made money. I thought about quiting my job and going full time and then the economy got bad and reality set in and woke me up. Have since done away with all that and now do 2 shows a year and very happy. I do about $1500 a show and it is enough to buy materials and keep my passion up because I did burn out. 

 

So the point of that was I do appreciate what you are going through about restocking and having enough inventory for the next shows. Good luck to you and hope you sell out. You will be busy the off season but you get to try new things and replenish the best sellers. Here is hoping all do well the rest of the year.
