Civil War Generals

I was asked to do six portraits of Civil War Generals. I have finished two and working on the rest. I had trouble finding one of them but two of our very best pattern makers helped me.

 

I wanted to give the customer an idea how they would look.   

 

I got all the patterns here at the Village. Thanks to Sue Walker. To the one that almost go away. Thanks to Lawson56 and DonR for your help.

Nice job and great project. One thing I noticed is the flag behind Grant has more stars than there were states at the end of the war.

I know. I can't seem to lay my hands on the Union Battle Flag. I put a modern day Flag just to show the customer what it will look like when it's done. The Flag is just resting between Grants and the pallet. I can unscrew and take the Flag down when I get a hold of a few Union Battle Flags.

 

Thanks bring that to my attention.
