Yes I use patterns for most of them so far. I could draw it directly on the wood, but transferring the pattern to the wood speeds up the process. Quote
Clayton717 Posted January 9, 2017 Author Report Posted January 9, 2017 thanks for all the comments. I'm really enjoying woodburning now. The new burner makes a big difference. Quote
Lucky2 Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 Clayton, this is an amazing piece, what type/brand of burner are you using? I'm thinking of buying a new one, just haven't decided on what brand I want. I'm not sure that there one brand that's better then the others, they all burn wood. Len Clayton717 1 Quote

Scrappile Posted February 8, 2017 Report Posted February 8, 2017 That is just plan awesome! I wish you lived close so I could get lessons from you. Another hobby I would like to have. My wife bought me a pretty nice woodburner several years ago but I never get to it. I ordered a DVD this last year, but still have not tried anything. Scrolling keeps getting in the way. You work is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Clayton717 1 Quote
Clayton717 Posted February 8, 2017 Author Report Posted February 8, 2017 Thank you for the comments. Paul, you ever get to ohio look me up. This has been something I've wanted to do for a while and finally bought a good woodburning pen. I'm still learning the art myself. Quote
