campasano Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 Under Doctor's advice I have decided to relocate to Bothell Washington to live with my daughter due to declining Health Problems. I will give up woodworking and try to lead an easy and enjoyable life. I am 86 years young and have enjoyed 70 years of woodworking. I will be checking in periodically and want to thank all of the members on this site for being so helpful and friendly. May God Bless you all and keep you healthy and active Mike Falcon, jbrowning, woodknots and 2 others 5 Quote

wombatie Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 Mike enjoy your new chapter and I hope to see you often around the Village, because retiring from woodworking does not mean retiring from the Village. I hope the move goes smoothly for you. Take care. Marg Quote
Woodmaster1 Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 Enjoy the new chapter in life. You might want to sneak your scroll saw in the garage and on the good days cut something. Quote

If the urge strikes, cut something for fun. If you are not selling, should be stress reducing :-) . Quote
dgman Posted August 10, 2017 Report Posted August 10, 2017 Take care Mike. Check in once in a while and let us know how you are doing. Quote
meflick Posted August 10, 2017 Report Posted August 10, 2017 I am sorry to hear that you are having to give up your woodworking. Not sure if your health issues make that necessary or not. I will pray for a smooth move and transition for you and your daughter as you make this move. I hope you will continue to visit the Village and live vicariously through the wood art created here and participate in discussions. Quote

Jim McDonald Posted August 10, 2017 Report Posted August 10, 2017 Mike: Best wishes on a smooth transition. You've been a good poster and I looked forward to hearing what you were doing. Keep the web address and check in periodically. (BTW--the pancakes looked great!) Quote
