This morning I received the sad news from his Grandson, Klause, that our friend Helmut Hurtich and his son, Helmut had both passed away in May 2017.

That explains why my messages were not replied too, I bought a couple of hundred of patterns from Helmut. I had contacted him just after he showed upon the Village, we became friends and we did some pattern swapping. Helmut liked to deal with Scroller Ltd, but they wouldn't send him any patterns. So, he would tell me what patterns he wanted, then I would purchase them and mail them to him. He was a nice person to talk to and to do business with, I'll miss him.
