Cataract Surgery

Just wondering something.  Has anyone had this surgery done? 

Will it improve how you see a Scroll Saw Pattern?  Will be undertaking this next month.  Both eyes.     JUST CURIOUS.    Tks....  Danny  :+}

I had just my right eye done two years ago.  The difference is amazing.  Everything will be bright and a lot clearer.

Good part is Will not cost a penny.  OOOpppsssss!  Them dang Eye Drops.  Expensive even with Insurance.  Oh well  :+}

I had mine done 2 months ago a week apart. Definitely much better. I still need reading glasses but went from a 1.5 to a 1.25. The eye dilation took 1.5 hours but the surgery took just a few minutes. Brightness in the morning is the only issue (drops help). I didn't realize that before the surgery, I had sun glasses (cataracts) on the inside of the eye, now I have to wear sun glasses on the outside. I did get 2 free pair after the surgery.

Go for it! I have had both mine done several years ago. I can drive without glasses but do wear readers when reading or scrolling.

Wife had this done about 3 years ago and was happy with the results. She still wears glasses because she has worn them since she was 5 years old and thinks she looks funny with out glasses. That is called woman's logic.

I had both eyes done about 2 years ago.  Now I can drive without glasses, but do need them to see up close.  I have about 4 different strengths of lenses to use, depending on how well and how close I need to see something.  It is amazing how much easier it is to see the pattern lines when using the right lens.

I had mine done 2 years ago and I was petrified before I got the first one done but it was a breeze don't know what I was worried about.   Only really need reading glasses now.

I had my left eye done two days ago.  Yes there is a difference already and from what the Dr says, it should continue to get better over the next day or so.

then I will do the right eye too.

I'm scheduled to have both done in July. I am so looking forward to being able to read a newspaper and tie fishing knots again.

Hey Berry....  Vision like your talking about as I was told would still need the use of Magnifier Glasses. 

I am looking Forward to seeing Differently.  Was told Colors would be Brighter and more Vivid.

Had both of mine done several years ago and was amazed at how bright everything became.  Well worth it.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes about 3-4 years ago and it made a huge difference. I worked in a warehouse at the time and always had to had a little flashlight with me to read labels because it was so dark. I always thought it was because the owner was a cheapskate and just used cheap lights. After I had both eyes done (in a two week period), I didn't need a flashlight in the warehouse anymore. Could see the labels just fine.

Also my cataracts were so bad I never had to wear sunglasses outside. Now I have to wear sunglasses outside. The eye doctor told me that was how dense my cataracts were.
