JimErn Posted September 10, 2019 Report Posted September 10, 2019 Great start, I don't think I would have been brave enough to pick that multi-layer pattern when I first started - kudo's OCtoolguy 1 Quote

heppnerguy Posted September 11, 2019 Report Posted September 11, 2019 Welcome from Arizona. You are doing a fine job. Keep making sawdust and displaying your projects. Looks like you have a pretty good handle on things. Dick heppnerguy OCtoolguy 1 Quote
avenuewood Posted September 11, 2019 Author Report Posted September 11, 2019 Thanks for the replies. I like to test myself. Rockytime.......I used to work in a Diesel engine manufacturing company. I was in Q.C. I would take a sample of fuel pumps from the suppliers, mount them on a test rig and check them. Mainly for fuel delivery.....smoke emissions etc. i had to take early retirement from work due to foot problems. i bought a turning lathe and made pens, bowls, clocks etc. I have now graduated to a scrollsaw. Enjoying it very much. Here is a picture of my turning. 750 segments. Stands about 12” tall. Very slow job making those! Barry. don watson, OCtoolguy, JimErn and 1 other 3 1 Quote
