meflick Posted October 10, 2019 Report Share Posted October 10, 2019 Most of those are all “Tootsie Rolls” they are just different size rolls and/or packages. The original flavor is chocolate, but they also later introduced other “flavored” ones, a “Tootsie Pop” is a hard coated sucker with a tootsie roll center. Her parents needed some time at the hospital and she needed a break from everything. We cut and painted some of Steve Good's Halloween patterns. We also had some shop supervisors, the darker is Chase my niece's dog and the lighter is Samson my dog. The in progress pictures show my niece cutting, the unpainted pieces and one of our clamping process. Good that you were close in location so your niece could come to visit and craft with you. Looks like you were well supervised. My golden retriever does not like to come out to the shop with me. This was also my first time cutting out letters.I've been tinkering since Christmas on a harbor freight scroll saw. My wife seen this the other day and asked for one. Some how in the process she wound up selling it, so now I have to make her another one.
