Lost It!!! - Found It!!

A while ago I had hubby pick up a USB stick for me so that I could amalgamate all my plans in one place.  He had some on his computer and I had some on mine, and who knows where else they had been!!!  Got most of them put onto the stick.  Put the stick in one place.  Used it a couple of times.  Now I have put it somewhere, that at the time I thought was a logical place to put it!!  Now I can't find it!! HELP!! please tell me where I put it!!!!!!!

When my things seem to not be where I put them or where I always put them I usually make a good look and if not found quit looking and go about my business in the shop with a little prayer and stop looking and it will show up in the last place you thought it would be.

Did you look in the freezer, where your car keys probably are ??    None of us are getting any younger you know.

That is why it is wise to look in the last place you want to look first. Seems to make sense, I'm just not sure how or why.

USB drives, I've found, are usually hiding in the washing machine (having cleverly slipped in there in the pocket of my pants) or....um....I've also found them in the USB port in the computer.

Hi barb can u find that old sharpener u prob once had go and look for it and u are bound to find the USB stick because if ur like me I always find things when am not looking for them lol

Still haven't found it but some areas of the house are getting very clean!!!

Barb, How bad were "some of the other areas of the house"?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Well ask Santa to bring you a portable hard drive. This will serve two purposes. First, it is larger than a USB stick so not as easily misplaced easier to find when if it is. Second, once you have it, the USB stick will show up and thus provide you with a backup. When it is found, put it in a safe place so you will know where it is.

Definitely not in the computer - I use a laptop and the USB stick had a long "leash" on it.

I have a side table beside my chair that had lots of books in that didn't need to be there anymore.  We seem to have a plethora of cables around - hubby with all his guitar stuff, older charging cables from obsolete technology - just sorting through them and tidying them up or getting rid of them.  Of course the one room that really needs cleaning is the workroom, but I wouldn't have taken the laptop there, so I wouldn't have taken the USB drive there.

I think that we already have a couple of portable hard drives!!!  Hubby is going to help me set up Google Drive and I will just upload everything to the "cloud"

Just found the USB stick - of course in a place that I had looked in before!!  It was twisted up with a couple of other cords.  Now I just have to think of a place that I will remember where I put it!

put up a hook and since it has a leash, hang it up

ahhhh new pattern for usb stick storage, hooks for those that have a leash, and slots for those that do not maybe?
