Yea yea nice box, but what caught my eye and I am looking for is train patterns. Right on your wall is some great looking train patterns. Where did you get them and could you take a better photo of them?? I want that. There must be a connection to your sign-on name and trains. Lets talk. I just bought some 3d patterns of old locos that i want to make too. But this would be a great first step.

OH yea good job with the box. I use a lazy susan too but I finish outdoors basically all the time if doing any spraying.

Sorry to have to tell you but the train sign is made of plastic. Wife got it at Goodwill. Maybe a pattern maker could turn it into a scrollable pattern.  I worked on RR for 41 years. Started on Penn Central September 12, 1969. We became Conrail 4/1/76.  Then got taken over by CSX in1999.

Nice finishing station.  Mine if pretty elaborate also.  A board on a garbage can with a door to outside open, weather permitting.  I really need something like you have done.

Mine's a long, shallow cardboard box, probably 6" deep, 12" wide, and 4' long, that I prop up on the trashcans near the garage door.  Roll up the door, turn on my floor-fans to push the mist outside, and cut loose with the rattlecan.  :)

This is my automatic finishing station. I pour in a quart of finish and take the project out after the dry cycle. RJF

Thanks. I am always looking for train patterns. I still have  a Dirk Boellman train Depot pattern clock that I want to do. I have been meaning to do it but just never got to it. One of these days. Can not get the electronics for it any more but still cool.

Looks like you need two white LEDs and two blinking reds. Should not be too hard to locate and you could power them for for a long time on D batteries or use a cheap power supply.

Yea it had a sound generator too for the train whistle on the hour. Took 4D batteries to show you it needed some power to get everything to work. I would get something working if I ever get around to this project.

Exquisite finishing station. Mine is on top of the workbench and if it is high test work, a used cardboard box and when I am done, I still recycle the box. Great craftsmanship in your work. Wish I had the room and the ability to make that!
