Wish I would have seen your link before I bought. Looks like they have some good stuff.

Dave, I have never purchased from that place, but have wanted to.  I plan to visit them sometime when I am at my daughter's.  Not far from where she lives.

I get my blue pine from The Happy Woodsman. Give them a call. If you go through their online order system, you'll have to call them - or they'll call you, for payment. I'v had real good results with their wood. If you pick out a piece online, then that's the one you're going to get.

Good folks to deal with.

There a lot of shades of "Blue" pine - mostly gray. It's also sold as Beetle-killed Pine through some other vendors.

If you want real blue - you're going to stain or dye. I use analine dyes. They have a "Sky Blue".

Dave, I don’t have any idea for your blue, but how is that “ last supper “ coming, RJ

RJ, I am getting along pretty slow. I am only working on it about two days a week because I have four shows in the next two months I am trying to get ready for. Intarsia is a whole new thing for me and it shows. Hopefully some day I will be as good as several others on this site.

Dave I don’t think you are giving yourself enough credit. It’s coming along beautifully.

Are your 'restrictions' lifted where you are ? We are likely to be 'locked' down in varying degrees, till the end of the year.  Beautiful piece though, I love it.

Starting to open things up now. Beauty shops, barber shops and nail salons just opened. Restaurants opened with limited seating. How about where you are at?

Not a chance !!!  I think we are going to hear about some 'easing' of the rules on Sunday, but it will only be a 'tiny' bit. Either way, I'm not budging out until it's safer than now. Tony has COPD and there's no way on the planet I'd chance his health.
