preprius Posted December 31, 2020 Report Posted December 31, 2020 How many hours do you have in this? The sunflower center is embedded. Are the stems different pieces? The bright cranberry stands out very nice. Is each segment of the pumpkins a different piece of wood? Is the moon spalted maple? Boy do I have a lot to learn. Mark amazingkevin 1 Quote

GrampaJim Posted December 31, 2020 Report Posted December 31, 2020 How much of a learning curve did you have with the Wonder Wheel? I am still experimenting and its going slow. Quote
ben2008 Posted December 31, 2020 Report Posted December 31, 2020 One word. Excellent! As an Intarsia nut I really appreciate looking a quality work and your's certainly is. I made something similar years ago with a Judy Gale Roberts plan called Horn of Plenty, or "Cornucopia". GrampaJim 1 Quote

This piece called out for it, and I knew it could be off a bit and still look ok due to the subject matter. I will give you a hint, a LIGHT touch is best, and the grinder needs to be moving at high RPM'S. GrampaJim and amazingkevin 2 Quote
