The frame is Saw Mill Oak that I got from a friend of mine. I had a bunch of it now it's dwindling down. I am going to get some more of it next time I go to visit him. danny and RabidAlien 2 Quote

Dak0ta52 Posted September 13, 2021 Report Posted September 13, 2021 Nice job, Tbow. I've actually downloaded that pattern to cut also. It looks like you cut that on maple and I'm not sure but it looks thicker than 1/4 inch. Quote
namunolie Posted September 13, 2021 Report Posted September 13, 2021 Fantastic work ~ love your frame work too Quote

That is the thinnest and only plywood I use. I refused to even use it for a while since I like solid wood but then cutting some super intricate stuff I found out that it works great and small details don't break off as easy. Quote
lawson56 Posted September 13, 2021 Report Posted September 13, 2021 Awesome job!!! I can hear the horses and wheels thundering down the trail. Jim Blume 1 Quote

Charlie E Posted September 14, 2021 Report Posted September 14, 2021 I'll second all the compliments above! Hard to pick a favorite part of this one. The wood, the cutting, the pattern, the frame are all top shelf. Cool piece of art! Jim Blume 1 Quote
heppnerguy Posted September 17, 2021 Report Posted September 17, 2021 If I can ever get back into my shop, this is one I am wanting to also cut. Hope I can do as well as you have Dick heppnerguy Quote
