I am SO sorry. I have said good by to more one and they all are so missed. They all are remembered and something everyday reminds me of one of them.

Each time I found a throw away replacement until I got too old to take care of another. That is a sad day too.

That’s where I’m at too Paul.  I was hoping for a few more years with him, but it wasn’t meant to be.  Don’t want to start over now and run the risk of a new pup outliving me.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of you dear friend.  Our pups never stay as long as we wish they could.  May I suggest when you feel the time is right that you consider adopting a Senior pet.  They are so many needing a loving home to spend the rest of their years. Just something to consider.  God Bless.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We had to put our kitty down a couple of weeks back and I still see her out of the corner of my eye as she used to wander into my office.

Tough to lose the unconditional love and support you can see in that face. 

Have gone through it too many times and I still look down to make sure I'm not stepping on someone.

Just do it. My Dad was the same and he has missed out on the companionship for many years. His dies a year after Mum, about 6 years ago. Get a dog from a shelter and you can both share your days together.

I know the feeling and it is one of the most hurtful things w pet lovers experience.

However, if we look back on the joy our friends have brought us and what we have meant to them, it helps to ease the suffering loss.

If it not for you giving your buddy a home, he could have ended up like so many other unfortunate pets.

We only rescue older pets from the pound now because of our age, and I can tell you that when they pass it hurts just as much as if we had them from pups.

But giving the older ones a home is often a very deep and satisfying feeling.

It's ok to be sad, but you still have a lot to give if you choose.
