Deck Make-over

Wife bought a pergola at Aldi of all places on clearance for $125 a a couple weeks ago.......the rest is history thank you to Amazon.....we haven't used the deck much since we got rid of our pool 10yrs ago, that's when we built my 10x24 shop onto the side of the garage, but with shade now we will enjoy it a whole lot except for this week with temps 90°-100°......real happy the way it turned out

Dan that looks beautiful.  That is crazy that you bought that at Aldi and what a great price.  We do not have that store in Eastern WA but when I visited back east I saw it.  I thought it was a grocery store.... at least the one in North Carolina was that I went to.

The Aldis near me are primarily grocery stores.  But they have one aisle we call "the danger aisle".  It has a constantly changing assortment of stuff.  We peruse it just to see what they have this time.  But I have never seen anything like that!

But have you ever seen the rare and elusive "Aldi Chisels"?  They have quite a zealous following within the woodworking community.

Dang, I was just there yesterday and carefully avoided the "Danger Row".  I will have to look for them next time I go there.

We have a Lidl.. it’s Aldi’s on steroids!  We try to stay out of the danger rows!

Nice find by your wife and nice work by you both setting up such a nice shaded spot. We have Aldi, but I have never been in it. Maybe I need to go in and look for these danger rows you guys are speaking of.
