Oldmansbike Posted December 15, 2023 Report Posted December 15, 2023 My neighbor called me over a while back and wanted to show me a jar opener someone had gave him and he wanted to know if I could make him some more of them. It’s a six inch circle with the v shaped sides. The right hand side has 2 old bandsaw blade pieces embedded in it for the gripping part. You mount it under your kitchen cabinets so it is not visible with 2 screws. Then stick the jar or what ever you want to open into it and twist. His wife said it will open anything from a finger nail polish bottle to a pickle jar. Once I figured out how to cut the slots for the blade pieces they were simple to build.
