Flex shaft holder

Maybe you could hang it with a carabiner that is wired to the Dremel stand.  Shouldn't come loose.

I have a Foredom and it hangs on a hook.  It run so smooth that there is no problem.

instead of a hook I'd use and eyebolt and a chain repair link (stronger than a carabiner but still removable).

I have the Foredom MH-1. It works great, but it ain't cheap. I'm using it with a Grizzly tool.

This is my solution.  They are just hanging on open hooks.    I have a Foredom, Dremel and Mastercraft hanging next to my work area.  I have not encountered any issues with them vibrating.  The Mastercraft has a reciprocating hand piece with carving bits.  The Foredom is more powerful but the Dremel works well and has smaller diameter hand pieces which for me are more comfortable.

I like my Foredom MH-1 because I can move it to where I need it or out of the way when not in use. It's made of steel, so I can use neodymium magnets to hold tools used with it. Primarily the chuck key so it stays with the tool.

All of the Foredom tools are very good but expensive.  I am shocked that my Dremel has lasted so long with only changing the flex shaft once.

The Foredom is very powerful and capable of larger bits.
