Back in January my wife went to a quilting show and came home with a $3000 quilting machine. I thought this would be the perfect time to mention I needed a new router table. My old router table mounting plate was worn and unsafe. The insert rings would no longer lock into place and could fly off at any time while the router was running. She said if it is unsafe, I should replace it. I told her about the one I had been looking at, and she said I should order it. So, I did!

This is the JessEm Ultimate Excel II router table Package. It includes the router table top, the fence with stock guides, base, wheel set, router motor with 1/4” and 1/2” collets and control box with built in speed control, air hose kit and dust box that encloses the motor. It is a complete routing system! I have always wanted a router lift. This table includes a built in lift. Instead of using a key or wrench into the insert, this uses a hand wheel on the side of the table. It has a locking lever to prevent the wheel from moving. The fence is fully adjustable and includes a dust collection port. It also has a system to move the outbound fence out so you can joint your work piece. The router motor is 3 1/4 hp. It comes with both collets and a control box with magnetic switch and electronic speed control with LED readout. The Dust box has a three way dust port on the back. It has a 4” port to connect to a dust collector, and a 2” port to connect to the fence. There are two ports to connect hoses that mount to the router motor. These hoses draw air up int the motor to keep the motor cool and keep sawdust out of the motor. The dust collection on this is amazing! Very little dust ends up in the box! The stand is very stout and very sturdy. The wheels lets you move it around the shop.

Overall, this is a great system that will outlast me! I ordered it directly from JessEm in Canada. They offer free shipping and 10% off if you sign up for email notices. With the 10% off I saved almost $300. So I ordered a couple of fence stops and the complete set of insert rings.

Beacuse this is a package, it is actually 8 products coming from the east cost of Canada, and I am in Southern California. It took about six weeks to complete my order, but I am fully satisfied with my decision!

Yep that is a great setup.  I would probably use my router a lot more if I had a setup like that.  A few years ago I broke down and purchased their cheaper router lift.  That alone made my setup a lot more user friendly and I wish I had done it many years sooner.

That is a serious piece of equipment. Good luck with it and hope it serves you well. Stay safe. Routers are just as dangerous as tablesaws.

Bet that was $3,000 too. It better be able to make me a cup of coffee to go along with that price tag. Strong coffee at that if you know what I mean.

I wish my wife' longarm quilting machine was only 3K also and all her other sewing machines:-)

I hear you, my wife has more tied up in two sewing machined than I have in all my tool in my workshop!  Probably more money tied up in material also.
