I am running out of space and now I’m looking for a way to hang my scroll projects  on the wall for displaying to sell

i was thinking of a command hook at the top of the wall and use a fishing line with some kind of hooks  (not sharp) on it about a foot apart

what are you using and can you post a pic of it    Thanks

Alot depends on the type projects you are talking about and if they have wall hooks and what type. What type wall are you talking about? Is this something you built to do shows with. is it peg board or plywood or wire. Give us an idea what you want. If you are talking ornaments then that is a whole different setup. So need more info to be of help. If you are talking portraits or things like that you still can use shelving and do rows. Show us what you do now and what you want to hang. Many ways to display projects. How much room and wall space are you talking about.

You are way over thinking this

bare wall sheet rock small ornaments to 8x10s wall is painted white 4 foot wide by 9 foot tall

not interested in shelves just an easy way to hang them without hundreds of holes in the wall

So it is ornaments you want to display. Are they all different? How many are we talking about? I ask these questions not to be a smart ass but to get an idea what you are after. You evidently came up with something that sounds like it will work. There are a ton of ways to hang ornaments but many times the type of ornament dictates the hanging methods. Are they flat, are they 3D, are they all the same size, are there multiples of each, are these sold in boxes ( if so you may want to display with the box)  and so on. Google is your friend. Pintrest is a good place to start looking for examples. Here is a link to one page. Good luck.  One other thing that needs to be taken in consideration is are these available to customers to touch or are you only one able to access. Again makes a difference in type hanger. Your question is not that easily answered without questions.

I have used a product that my daughter found on Amazon. It is short lengths of Velcro about 2" long that are sticky backed and I stick one (sometimes 2) on the wall and the other sticks on the back of the art wall piece. It then sticks up on the wall and easily removed. You could also sell it with the velcro to recoup that expense. I will have a look and see if I can help.

EDIT I have had a look at Amazon UK and in Home and Kitchen I entered wall hanging velcro. This brought up what I have used.

First, I don't think the Command will hold.  As a framer, many customers came in with broken frames falling off the wall using the Command products.

In our store, we have a rail attached to the wall with S hooks and chain to hang pictures.  Of course, this is overkill for you, but something similar might work.

When I have done craft sales in the past I used a wire grid system that is also used in  retail stores ( similar to Barb,s).  Use a black cloth draped behind the display so the scroll sawn articles contrast and show up against the background.  Connectors are available to join more than one wire panel so they can self support on the floor or tables depending on size of panels.   This could be done using plywood cut to an appropriate size, painted black and covered on one side by chicken wire also painted black.   Join panels by hinges. Tom, most scroll sawn work does not show very well against a white background .  Maybe a frame could be made  and attached to wall and chicken wire stretched across.  These wire systems provide endless ways of displaying your scroll sawn work.  When using fabric for backgrounds different colours can be used.

All the best in your sales.
