We lived on two different lakes over the past 25+ years. (Moved from lake anbout a year and a half ago now though.) Both places we had blue herons that regularly camped out on our boat dock. They are beautiful creatures. Which is why I bought that pattern years ago, one day perhaps I’ll get to it. (live has been in my way for the last two years but finally getting my saws and sanders set back up in our new location.) hopefully I can get back to some scrolling and Intarsia soon.
