I can get the Niqua blades from online supplier The Wood Works.com here in Australia. They cost approx. $1.00 each not counting postage if I buy them in bulk. They work just fine. Thanks for your comment.

Bearwood is Canadian but I have found them to be expensive for shipping. I order from Garnet Hall @Sawbird.com. He is also Canadian and a scroller. I don't know if he sends to Australia but it might be worth an email.

I make a lot of ornaments for gifts each year. In the last 25 years I've given away over 600. My other go-to project is baskets. I make a lot of small ones to give as gifts for all occasions- birthdays, thank you, Christmas, and others. I find that if you fill one with candy when you get invited somewhere and let it when you leave. You always seem to get invited back. I also make some larger baskets as wedding presents for nieces and nephews. My agreement with my wife is that I make the basket and she fills it. Definitely a gift that l know they won't return.
