He always makes me smile. ***Paul, @Fab4 got it with Nat King Cole. I wouldn’t have picked this piece of oak out because of the busy grain, but it was a piece I had left over from making a threshold and he’ll just be on my wall so I can live wth it. Smile! I had always heard Charlie Chaplin wrote Smile, and I hated that because he was apparently not a good man at all, marrying teenagers, treating women badly and such. I love the lyrics and it tainted it for me thinking he wrote them. Turns out he did write the music but not the words. Silly I guess but I’m glad Fab4 and Scrappile 2 Quote
