Please Help

I'd like to ask for help turning this pic into a pattern, if possible. These are my daughters cousins (on her moms side) and they were murdered back in April. Bodies were found in May. My daughters grandma has asked me to make a memorial of them for her and this is the only pic she had. I know it's poor quality so if it's not possible I understand, I will figure something else out. Thanks so much for your time!

wow,   what a sad story. I hope you are able to use one of the patterns these wonderful people drew for you. I will pray for the remaining family members. May God Bless them all. I can't imagine what kind of a person would dare take the lives of this lovely young woman and what I assume is her beautiful baby. It the patterns don't work out for you, you might consider uploading a better quality photo of them (individually) and perhaps someone here could make a pattern combining them both into one portrait.  Just a thought.

Hey Tdub.

  As the others have mentioned, the quality is not great. I've played around with it for a while, to try bringing the detail to the foreground.

It's probably the best it will get (detail wise), although you may want to try adding a little hair, where the mobile phone was.

  Unfortunately, this is just another one, of the all-too-many tragic incidents...where I can do nothing more than help here.

Any other problems, feel free to give me a shout.

Thank you all very much for your time in making these great patterns! I know the pic was not very good quality. Here are 2 I googled, I hope they are better to work with. If you are willing to try, I'm not expecting anymore of your time, you've all been gracious enough. Thanks so much!

 

I never knew Kaylie or Lana and my daughter only meet them 2 or 3 times as my ex left when our daughter was 2 yo. The whole crime is so gruesome, but the worst part of the whole ordeal was they said they found baby Lana in a ditch on the side of the road face down still straped in her car seat. Like they just threw her from the car. They do have someone in custody, but there hasn't been any info on the news in awhile.

Here's the start of the first memorial. I'm cutting it on .080 Acrylic (we'll see what happens!). And maybe a felt backer. The great pattern was designed by EIEIO.

Well, the cutting is done now have to figure out how to display it. I used my sander and frosted the acrylic before I started cutting. It kinda looks good in a shadow box like frame. Thanks again Ray!

I'm sure as I say no thanks needed everyone else would say and what a good idea to cut those in that fashion acrylic looks a great memorial.

Almost done. I made another frame and painted it black. I painted the back of the acrylic pink and added a purple backer.
