  1. Hi Dennis and welcome to the village! Travis has a cool little tutorial that will explain how to post pictures here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=20 We'd love to see your pictures. If you have any problems just holler and someone will be around to help you.
  2. Wow! We have some really nice entries for the contest! Thanks Mike for providing the generous contest prize. Of course, Travis announced the contest the day after I finished the Bobcat WIP! LOL That is a gift for my daughter and her other half! But thats OK....I made this jaguar for my husband! No WIP as it is almost the same as the bobcat! This one has 180 pieces...is made of poplar...overall size is 15 1/2 w x 16 1/2 h.....pattern by Neal Moore....frame by me! My husband thinks it is for our son! LOL
  3. Excellent cutting, Bubba! I would also use a wood glue just as Kepy suggested.
  4. Mike, that is so sweet! She will love it! Nice work!
  5. You did a great job on both, Ron! I like the shelf but the bass is very nice looking, too! Thanks for showing us.
  6. Those turned out real nice, Frieke! Thanks for showing us.

  8. Frieke, you did a terrific job on both the pattern and the cutting. You have a very cute daughter, too!
  9. You did an excellent job on it. I really like the way it is framed and mounted! Very nice!
  10. Marshall, that is going to look great sitting on your son's desk! Very nice work!
  11. That looks great, Marshall! I like the candle cup too....it looks great from either side. If I make one to use with a real pumpkin pie scented candle I will make the bottom board longer to move the candle holder farther away from the pumpkin. The battery tea lites are a good idea and much safer to use but I like the scented candles!
  12. Great idea, grampa! Thanks for sharing it with us.
  13. Very nice job on both the pattern and the cutting. Thanks for showing us.
  14. I'm ready for Halloween! Don't drink and carve! No treats here! Nice patterns everyone! Thanks for sharing them.
  15. Thats too bad, Travis. Sorry you had to spend your days recovering this Wiki. Hopefully whoever posted about the stack cutting will recreate it. Thanks for all you do to keep the Village running smoothly.
  16. Wish there had been a program like this when my kids were little. We kept them busy with Scouts and 4-H but this would have been a lot of fun.
