  6. Very well done, Jerry. Thanks for sharing. Roly is right. There is a song there by Jim Croce. One of my all time favorite artists. He died much too young. Look up Jim Croce and Time in a Bottle. It's worth a listen. God Bless! Spirithorse
  7. Great work! I ordered that pattern also but, when I found out the rings had to be cut to be intertwined I never cut it. I guess it just sort of spoiled the effect for me. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

  13. Hi, JT, Rolf pretty much stated what I had in mind. I'd much rather still have the blade intact and square to the table than start bending things. Enough said. God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Well, that seems to have gotten a discussion started, Rolf! LOL I'd like to see one of the scroll saw designers make clamps that can swing to the right or left so you can swivel the saw blade. Everybody enjoy their hobby! God Bless! Spirithorse
  15. Just my opinion but, if I were doing that type of project, I would probably cut it out of something like Corian. Good luck, hope to see the finished project, and God Bless! Spirithorse
  16. Excellent work! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  17. Fantastic, Paul, Glad you enjoyed it and had fun. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  18. Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, I kept by-passing your post because it was titled so negatively but, finally read it tonight. At least it ended on a more positive tone. You don't have a table and you work with wood? Come on now. How hard would it be to make a table any size you want with folding legs for flat storage? I would think the people at the store would have loaded the lumber if you had asked. Anyway, glad you got some cash and have the projects finished. God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. Beautiful! Is it just the front attached to a base? I really like the addition of the gold paint. God Bless! Spirithorse
  20. Great work and you can tell your wife that it seems she has a lot of admirers in the village! That hummingbird painting is fantastic! Your cutting is truly great also. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  21. Greetings, I thought I'd also mention that people have even used Kool-aid as a stain but, that would probably be in rare cases when bright colors are called for. You can also use craft paint thinned down so the wood grain still shows through. Can't wait to see some of your projects! Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse
  22. Just like all your work, Paul, SUPERB! I think you should send two to Willie Nelson letting him know that one is for him and you'd like him to autograph the 2nd and send it back to you. Here's the contact info: Willie Nelson 12400 St Hwy 71 W Ste 350 Austin, TX 78738 I actually met the country duo called Joey and Rory after they were on a country televison show and gave them a cutting that I did from a pattern I made and they autographed one for me and have the other hanging in a restaurant they own in Tennessee. God Bless! Spirithorse
  23. Cute! I like them a lot! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  24. Hi, Sam, Beautiful work! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so, if you like the Red Mahogany, that should be fine. My preference would probably be Gunstock or Cherry stain so it isn't quite as dark as the Red Mahogany. With other people's suggestions to use contrasting colors, now that they are cut, you will probably have to wood-burn areas to stop one color from bleeding into the other area. I hope to see what your final decision is. God Bless! Spirithorse
  25. Fantastic work! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
