  2. Hi, Ed, Hope to see some pics when you get the chance. One thing that a few people have mentioned previously is that you should keep some pics of what you cut with dates so you can check back later and see how much you have improved as you got more experience. Glad you found the site and hope you enjoy the new hobby. God Bless! Spirithorse
  3. Congratulations, Jim, God Bless! Spirithorse
  4. Nice work, Dan, Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  5. Nicely done, Edward, The lines at the top are a bit hard to read for people like myself with poor vision. Perhaps you could change the color of the links on the top. Just a suggestion. Not meant to be too critical. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  6. That's amazing, Kevin, or that's AmazingKevin, or well, you get the idea. Great job! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

  9. Holy cow! You're going to make a dining room on the scroll saw? You are one dedicated scroller! Okay, Yes, I like the idea of the frames and am looking forward to seeing the finished results. God Bless! Spirithorse
  10. Hi, Bulldog, I didn't have a part number or model number but, it appears the 16" variable speed was a 21602 model so, I began searching there. Hopefully these links will help you. If not, perhaps you have a friend in a machine shop or tool and die shop that can fabricate the part you need? I did that with a couple replacement blade clamps. Sears pi**ed me off because they didn't have parts in the store and I could order them on-line for a little over $2 but, they wanted over $9 to ship them! If you are a member of eBay you can probably get about any part you want or a good deal on a used Scroll Saw there also. Good luck and God Bless! 14. Great work, Kevin, I guess I'm getting old and cynical now because I USED to believe hard work paid off but, now I think you have to be a crooked politician or a un-caring CEO that never actually had to work. Just my gripe for the day. God Bless! Spirithorse
  15. Nice work, Gator, You are really making me feel guilty for not having any ambition to get some patterns made and some cuttings done. God Bless! Spirithorse
  16. Under the MORE button on the top of the screen there is a Members Map with pin-points for scrollers from this forum. I didn't have much luck seeing where people are located but, that is probably because I didn't know exactly how to navigate the page. God Bless! Spirithorse
  17. Nice work, Hans, Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  18. That is a very nice project. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. Good topic, Art, I've been in a slump myself trying to think of new items to design patterns from. I really haven't seen much in SSWC or CWWC lately that appeals to me and I haven't cut anything for about 6 months or more because of health issues and low ambition but, hope to get out of the slump and get some patterns made and some items cut. Hopefully this discussion will get a list of general topics that people would be interested in cutting if they had some patterns made. God Bless! Spirithorse
  20. Very nicely done, Nick, and I really like the idea of using the thick backer with a thinner stock for the cutting. A real time saver. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  21. Great cutting, Edward, Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  22. More beautiful work, Hans, That doesn't sound quite right but, you know what I mean. All your work is fantastic and this is no exception. God Bless! Spirithorse
  23. They look great. If you have any options with your phone app, you can try to adjust for darker, lighter, more contrast, and other similar settings to see if you can bring out more detail. It's just a learning curve to see what you can actually do with the graphics editor you use. Sounds like you are in a good area to get a good price for your work! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
