  1. Tom, I love the dresser, it's my kind of style. I'm sure your police officer friend, will be impressed with what you made for him. It's good to have you drop by, it would be nice if you could do it more often. Len
  2. Dave, that looks great, I'm sure the recipients will be impressed. Len

    Face off

Nicely done Ralph, I'm sure you made your granddaughters day. If she didn't beforehand, she now probably thinks your the bestest grandfather ever. Len
  4. Denny, they're very nice looking ornaments, especially made out of oak. You seem to be doing pretty good with these, is this the first year for selling them? Len

I love it Thomas, the colorful background is oh so appropriate. You did a fantastic job on all of the lettering, the whole thing looks nice and neat and tidy. Len
  6. Cute choir Dan, they all look as if they're ready to sing. I take it that these are for family and friends, how many will you make altogether? Len
  7. Well Dave, from what I can see, I don't understand why your not bragging about this piece. I really like it, it's plain and simple and as Marg has stated elegant. I don't know what it is about this one, and, I just want to touch it. Len
  8. Nicely done Dan, you sure are keeping busy. Len

    Ornimates

Nicely done Thomas, those will make nice wedding keepsakes. How's things going for you nowadays, is the flood damage getting cleaned up? Len
  10. Don, for that thickness and type of wood, I use a FD-UR#5-7 blade. Other blades will work just as well, but, I like the FD-UR type blades. I have used the two-way cut/crown tooth blades with good results also, but I don't usually have them on hand. Len
  11. Kevin, you may be a firm believer in greasing the saw right out of the box. But, do you realize that doing so, will negate the warranty? If Dave had greased his saw on his own, I doubt that warranty would do anything for him. These saws come with sealed bearings, greasing them when they are new is useless. Yes, I can understand and agree with greasing them, once there is no longer any warranty. And if the saw has seen substantial use, because then there may be some wear. Len
  12. A nice and easy cutting John, it looks nice. Len
  13. Helmut, I like the look of both of these, the one with the snow would be my favorite. They look really nice lighted up,and the different types of wood used for the roofs looks really good. Len
  14. Way to go Frank, finding Woodchucker's is very fortunate for you. I've been dealing with them for years, granted all of my dealings with them is internet based. These ornaments all done up in different types of wood look great, will you be selling them, or, will they be gifts? Len
  15. It's a nice looking welcome sign Jerry, you sure have been keeping busy. Len
  16. Jerry, that's a good looking clock, I'm sure it will be well received. Len
  17. Don, the last one I bought, I bought it at a second hand store. I only paid five dollars for it, and it blew more then enough air to remove the dust. Len
  18. Jim, what do you do to contend with the noise the hair dryer makes? I hate the sound of hair dryers, so much so, that I leave the house when one is being used here. Even if I didn't mind the sound so much, I still don't think I would like the extra noise while sawing. Len
  19. Not me, I have no interest in them whatsoever. Len
  20. Vykus, try taking the nut to a machine shop. They will be able to tell you what thread it is, they might even have a nut to match. Either way, they will be able to tell you if it's metric or SAE. Good luck, I hope you get it fixed. Len
  21. Roly, both projects look to be winners. I like how you did up the Merry Christmas one, and your getting pretty fancy with the glitter on those Hugs. Len
  22. Jim, all three pieces look nice, but, that's normal for you. I like all three pieces, it would be very hard to pick a favorite. Len
  23. Nicely done TerryLee, both pieces look great. There looks like there was some very tedious work done on the stocking. Len
  24. Dick, I hope your wife's fall didn't cause any serious injury, I can understand how you feel about leaving her side. Hopefully, she'll be alright in no time, it's not a good time of year to be down. We will put her on our prayer list, but, we'll have to call her Dick's wife, I'm sure that will be ok. Dick, regarding attending a sale. You get to know people, and what they like to see. Plus, you can give details on how you make things, people like to know that. And they like to talk to the person who is behind the products, it made them feel like they knew me which helped sales a lot. Plus, it made me feel good hearing what they thought of my work, and it's a good place to get some idea of what to cut next. Len
  25. Looks nice Jerry, will you be adding a backer to it? It looks nice sitting on that red material it now sits on, will you be using a piece of that for a backer? Len
