  1. Nicely done Dan, it's an exceptional cutting. Len
  2. Well done Hans, it's a beautiful cutting. Len
  3. I agree with Katie and Dan, 3/4" stock is just to thick for a puzzle blade. I've used them in the past, and about the thickest I could cut was about 1/2" at best. And the 1/2" stock I was cutting was softwood, it cuts a lot easier then hardwood does. Len
  4. Nicely done Matt, it sure looks different when done on dark wood like this. Len
  5. Kelly, if you go to the top of this or any page on the Village, you will find a Pattern Library header. If you run your cursor over that title, a whole bunch of catagories will pop up on the screen. From there, you can click on whichever catagory you want. Len

Nicely done Tim, the Bloodwood frame adds a touch of class. Len
  7. Good luck Scott, go for it. Len
  8. Helmut, it's an outstanding Santa. Len
  9. Nicely done Monti, I don't understand it's meaning, but it looks nice. Len
  10. Randy, that has to be a tedious cutting to have done, wouldn't the copper be almost to soft? Do you have something special to hold the coin, or, do you just hold it in your hands? Len
  11. Looks good Iggy, I used to own one years ago, it was one tough little sucker. Where did you buy the pattern from, I'm interesting in getting a copy of it? Len
  12. Nicely done Casey, it looks really nice. I wonder what it would look like, if the paint scheme was reversed? Paint the backer red and the Santa white, I think it would look good painted either way. Len

Terrylee, both pieces are outstanding bits of intarsia work, as per your usual you nailed it. Will these be used as gifts, or, will they be sold? Len
  14. Way to go Ike, you had a great display of your work set up. I see some interesting items that you have cut, I especially like the nativity scene. The one on the top shelf, in the first picture above the little cars. Could you please let me know where the pattern for it can be found? Len
  15. Be careful what you do with these patterns, you can only cut these for self use. He has a warning posted at the bottom of the page letting you know that. It states; "You may not use any of these designs for resale purposes, including producing other types of products using these designs." That's about as black and white as you can make it, to bad, because I think they would be good sellers Len
  16. I wouldn't be to quick to purchase a new Jet lathe, I would like for them to be in service for a while before buying one. If possible, could you purchase a used lathe to get by with. Something that doesn't cost to much, one that you won't mind giving up when you find the brand your looking for. Onr thing I don't like about the new Jet scroll saw, is that they have the lower blade clamp section that gets attached separetely. You can't just grab a blade and clamp it in place, you first have to attach the bottom section. To me, that would be a royal PITA, and I wouldn't want to own any saw that works that way. Len
  17. Nice gesture Kevin, good on you. Len
  18. Well done Monti, I like how they look, and that's a very cute Moose. Len
  19. Nicely done Hans, it looks real nice as is, I wonder what it would look like if it was back-lit? Len
  20. Nicely done Les, I like this saying it's so appropriate at times. Len
  21. Jerry, it's good that you're starting to feel better, and it's great that your back on the site. Hopefully, you'll get some mild weather, so that you can do more scrolling. Len
  22. Frank, get over it, General hasn't built a scroll saw in Canada for years. It's time to move on. Len
  23. That's him in his bank robbing suit, ain't it Marg? Cool pattern, there seems to be a fair amount of interest in him. Len
  24. I like both, the picture and the cutting, I wouldn't mind owning either one. Len
  25. Nicely done Denny, I like the look of them being made out of plywood. I must look up my copy of that CWWC mag, I might try cutting a few out of plywood. Len
