  1. Now that is nicely done, it looks great. Len
  2. Randy, they look good, but, aren't they to fragile to do anything with? Len
  3. duplicate posting, sorry. Len
  4. Too cute Dan, it's bound to be a popular one. Len
  5. Steve, you did an outstanding job on this piece, I have the pattern but haven't gotten around to cutting it yet. When I do get around to it, I hope that I can do as good a job as you have. Len
  6. OMG Jim, you have some pretty amazing pieces on display there. The Spider-man and the one next to it, must have been a nightmare to cut. Thanks for sharing this with us, you are a master scroller. Len
  7. Two nice looking cuttings Greenie, I agree with recutting the one of your Great Grand daughter. How could you not see the blemish in the wood, before you attached the pattern to it? Len
  8. Geez Randy, how the heck did you manage to cut this one out? There's so little left to the coin, that the cutting must have been very tedious. You do some amazing work, thanks for sharing it with us. Len
  9. Pete, your ornaments look great, your doing a good job of staying caught up with Russell patterns. Len
  10. Good looking coins Randy, are they good sellers? Who buys them, and about how many do you sell per year? Len
  11. Nice looking birdhouses Jim, have you ever tried gluing one up with the bird sticking halfway out of the house? I do that every so often, the people seem to like them done up that way. Len
  12. Jim, I've seen a pattern for a 3-D ghost, but, I don't remember where I saw it. It was a cute little pattern, and I don't know why I didn't save it. If I can remember where I saw it, I'll be sure to let you know. Len
  13. Kevx, I have never cut an album myself, but I have seen a few that were cut by other people. Over on the Scrollers Cafe right now, there's one on display. It was cut by Gayle Mortenson, she's cut a few of them and they all looked amazing. I'm sure that if you visit the Cafe, you will get the info on how she cuts them out. Len
  14. Kris, it's an outstanding cutting, you did well coming up with this pattern. Len
  15. I use a drillpress, the mini bits I use work on it fine. Len
  16. Jim, the coasters look great as they are, but, have you ever considered inlaying the Texas Star on each one? If you don't want to do the inlay work, you could just cut the star out. Len
  17. Jamie, I use a spray adhesive, I find it to be easy to use and it holds the pattern in place really well. With all types the different ways to attach a pattern to wood, it would be advisable that you do some trial and error work. After all, what works for me, may not work for you. Len
  18. Try later, maybe even wait until tomorrow to post it. Waiting one day won't make much difference, will it? Len
  19. Pete, the yarn bowls and trivet look great, what type of wood did you use for the bowls? Len
  20. Mike, you may not be sure of what your doing here, but, it sure looks like you sure know your way around a scroll saw. This is an amazing piece, and so it should be. It's hard to beat a Jeff Zaffino pattern, he was one of the best pattern designers there was. It's sad that he got himself into trouble, he had a large following. Personally, I think Jeff's patterns were better than Charles Dearings. Jeff's patterns are still available, I just forget right now where to buy them. Len
  21. Monti, it looks to be a delicate cutting, it wouldn't be near strong enough to make a key chain out of. Len
  22. Dan, you had a great display of your work, and its nice that you sold out your next class. Len
  23. Bill, your blazing owl is amazing, your granddaughter should be most impressed with it. I would like to cut one of these for myself, could you tell me where I might get a copy? Len
  24. Iggy, your puzzles are impressive, I hope that they will be good sellers for you. Oh yeah, the trumpet and sax, are the most impressive. Len
  25. Helmut, what brand of blades do you use, and what size of blade do you normally cut with? Len
