  1. Dan, how large was the tree, what size of boards will you get out of it? How light in color is the wood? Len
  2. In the way that you turned and presented the pens, plus, for the way you cut and made the angels into key chains. Len
  3. Nicely done Jerry, I like the red plexi. Len
  4. Dave, both plaques are outstanding, but, the trekkie one is really something else. Your inlay work just blows me away, it's always so perfectly done. I haven't done any inlay work for years, but, seeing yours makes me to want to try doing some again. Len
  5. Rusty, the new tip looks good, what type of wood did you use, and how did you finish it? Len
  6. Nicely done Pete, they look nice. Len
  7. Vern, it's an amazing piece with lots of holes, you did well. Len
  8. Nice looking crosses Dan, they all are so well done. Len
  9. Craig, thankfully it wasn't a severe cut, and hopefully you learned a lesson. Anything that vibrates as much as a scroll saw does, definitely should be fastened down before using. The probable reason for the blades snapping on you, was that the wood probably was still to wet to cut. The wood that you picked up in the last few months, wouldn't be near dry enough to use. It takes at least one year per inch, for fresh cut wood to air dry. Len
  10. With the small difference in price between the EX21 and the EX30, I would buy the EX30. Not because I'm not pleased with my EX21, but, simply to have the extra cutting capacity. Len
  11. If I have to paint something, I use Deco-Art crafters acrylic. It's a water based all purpose paint, that you can thin as thin as you want. Len
  12. Tony, both your angels and pens are outstanding, you did a magnificent job. Len

    snowmen

Cute snowmen Jerry, you sure have been keeping yourself busy. Len
  16. Dick, it's a gorgeous cutting, you did an outstanding job of bringing it all together. I agree with you, this may be one of Steve's best patterns so far. Being Canadian, the statue of liberty doesn't mean as much to me, as it does you. But, when I saw this pattern, I was very impressed and I considered cutting one for myself. Len
  17. Jerry, it's a beautiful basket, and the jig you made is ingenius. Len
  18. Elmer's is the only repositionable glue that that I use, I've never had an issue with it. The only glue that has given me any trouble so far is 3M77, for me, it was a nightmare to use. Len
  19. Paul, I didn't get a copy yet, what was the pattern subject? Len
  20. Nicely done Helmut, three hrs isn't very long for all of those cuts. Len
  21. Looks great. Len
  22. Nicely done Kevin. Len
  23. Too cute Rob, they should be good sellers. They would be a nice keepsake for the kids. Len
  24. Bradley, the truck looks great, you did an amazing job designing it. Len

Jerry, your really getting into the hall-o-ween spirit, these ghosts look fantastic. How many have you had stolen, that's got to be frustrating? Len
