    Fan in shop speeds drying paint time......paint was barely dry when pic was taken......it will stay inside overnight for paint to cure......have a great holiday season!

    Inspired to build this one today for the side of our deck during the holiday season.....40"T.....DIY rough cut boards...letters are deep colonial red....wire hanger on back.....2 hrs from start to finish.....could hang on wall inside too...comments appreciated as always

    I’ve been asked to make some chunky letters 8” tall for their grandson to learn his name & play with....what would be the best/strongest wood for this? Also the safest as he may chew on them.

    It's been a while since I posted or commented on anything, my place of employment announced layoffs or possible closing, so i have been busy applying for jobs, taking tests& interviewing, I am pleased to announce I have accepted a new job!! Physical & drug test today, it will be rotating 12's, but I will get 7 days off straight once a month which should allow me some shop time.....enough rambling I was asked to make this, their daughter is graduating from Navy basic training, they are going to paint it themselves, 1/2" sanded plywood

    They say rabbits multiply like.......well it's true in my shop......these are all of the colors I'm doing that people have asked for so far for these rustic bunnies.......all cut on the scroll saw one board at a time......orders are piling in, hope I can keep up.

    I was asked if I could build this rustic bunny.....here it is.....1x4 boards.....I 1st made a template of bunny for tracing....then cut the 1x4 boards to appropriate lengths......traced bunny onto boards......then cut each board with the scroll saw......then attached them together on the back with scrap pieces of 1/2" plywood mainly.....then stained whole thing.....then painted the colors 1 coat only......then sanded to roughen up a little.....31"T......burlap bow/hot glue....I posted pics of the process to help I hope...I'm going to do one with pink also....comments always appreciated....thank you
