  1. Nice cutting and cool pattern. I should get my eyes checked though. I thought the thumbnails were of a spitting cobra before I clicked on them. Barry
  2. It just sounds like the base coat just hasn't fully dried before you're applying the clear coat. Try waiting an extra day or so, especially if it's humid, before applying the clear coat and see what happens. You could even test it on a piece of scrap of the same species before painting the next project. Barry
  3. Huge LOTR fan here and I've got to say, you did a terrific job on that. Your son also created a great pattern. Barry
  4. Nice cutting Danny. Very crisp lines. Barry
  5. That turned out great Clayton! I've always been fascinated by this pattern and you definitely did it justice. Barry
  6. They look pretty darn good to me Dave. I haven't done any jewelry boxes yet, but the drawers look like they fit fine. Nice job. Barry
  7. Very cool little puzzles. Thanks for sharing. Barry
  8. I feel for ya Marge, I had that happen with the first attempt of the Dr. Who cutting. It really does make you want to cry. On the other hand, I'm sure the stream of expletives coming out of your mouth must have sounded great with an Australian accent. At least I'm sure it did to an American ear. On the upside, at least you didn't wait for the last minute to do this piece. Barry
  9. Nice job on that Denny, looks great. Barry
  10. That cutting looks super clean Denny. I've done word art before and it's definitely not as easy as it looks. Not a lot of cuts, but because they are letters and something we recognize easily, errors in the cutting are actually more obvious. You should be proud of this. Well done. Barry
  11. Well, he's got a wood one now! Nice job on this. Barry
  12. That looks terrific! Great job on that. Barry
  13. Thanks for posting the other end of the word. Nice cutting. Barry
  14. Great clock and Angels. I also like the One Day at a Time wordart. I'm a cancer survivor and truer words have never been scrolled. It's a great motto everyone should follow instead of worrying about so many important things. Good luck with the treatments. Barry
  15. Jackalopes are some of my favorite critters, and this one doesn't disappoint. Nice job on the cutting. Barry
  16. Nice job Joe. I have yet to make some of Steve's vases, but they are on the list. This turned out great. Barry
  17. Really, really nice cuttings. I especially like the birds. thanks for sharing. Barry
  18. Nicely done Dave. Looks Great! Barry
  19. I love mixed media projects and this one is terrific. It may be the first attempt but looks pretty darn good. Can't wait to see how they turn out as you perfect the process. Barry
  20. Matt, they turned out beautifully. Never be uncomfortable about compliments and recognition for a job well done. Barry
