  1. Great job Ken. These turned out fantastic and the fact that you were able to restore the original makes it even better. Barry
  2. Beautiful job Gator! I know quite a few survivors and this would be a great and meaningful gift. Well done. Barry
  3. Very cool Kevin. The pics are a bit blurry, but it looks like some terrific work. I never thought about doing something like that out of coins. Awesome Barry
  4. Beautiful cutting Ron. Nice job Barry
  5. Thanks Jim, they have a set of 50 with rack for less than $15. The tubes are assorted colors which may help in organizing type of blade (spiral, reverse, crown tooth). Think I will order some right after the holiday. Barry
  6. Good idea Bill. I frequently hold the piece up to a light after drilling to make sure every hole goes all the way through. What I found works for me is drilling slower and drilling on top of a piece of scrap wood to prevent tearout as the drill comes through. This seems to keep blockage of the holes to a minimum. Barry
  7. What a great feeling to see one of my patterns cut. Marg, you did an amazing job, especially since you cut it smaller than I thought would be safe and you used no spirals. I wouldn't even have attempted this without spirals. Amazing work, and the picture is fine. Barry
  8. Beautiful work on that DW. The finish on that really brings out the beauty of the wood. Whoever gets this is going to love it Barry
  9. She's going to love this Keefie. What could be more special than something handmade that conveys your feelings. Great job! Barry
  10. Nothing better than a room full of hugs. These are a very cute idea and well done Roly. I agree with Larry, these do look good enough to eat. Barry
  11. Jim, Do you remember what site it was? If so I would be very interested in the link. Barry
  12. Glad to hear you had a great experience. I am in need of ordering some hardwood for a project and now I know where I'm going to go for it. Thanks for sharing your experience. Barry

  18. Terrific job! Can't wait to see it all finished. Barry
  19. My hat is off to both Clayton and Travis without who none of this would be possible. I have been in many scrollsaw groups over the years and they have all come and gone. Not only does this group continue on, but it grows. There are always new members and lots of activity. So thank you very much Clayton and Travis for all you do. Barry
  20. I use the tubes from Sloan's. The lids have a tab with a hole in it for hanging. I nailed a bunch of 2 1/2 inch finish nails into the side of the workbench that sits next to my saw and hung the tubes from the nails. Used a label maker to label each tube. Not fancy or pretty, but keeps them organized and handy. Barry
  21. Nice job on that Jim. Looks very cool. Barry
  22. Great pattern and cutting Don. One of my favorite Doctors. Barry
  23. Brian, the clock is looking amazing. One of these large fretwork clocks is on my scrolling bucket list. I just haven't found the time to do one. Great inspiration for the rest of us. Barry
