  1. I am 50/50 with the Dremel plunge router. Practice on some scrap until you feel comfortable or feel like giving up. If you have a good guide and good grip you should do good.

  9. Rockler makes a small parts jig for the table saw. It worked pretty good for me. It's basically a small sled and is pretty safe. I still have all 11 fingers. Wait, no, just 10.

Welcome aboard, Thomas! Lots of great advice here. Be sure to post pictures when you can.
  16. I've made dishwasher signs, Clean on one side Dirty on the other. I drilled 1/4" holes in 1/4" ply to embed the magnets. Then glued 1/16" ply on both sides. Works great, hides the magnets and doesn't scratch the dishwasher.

  19. Beautiful color, grain and work. I usually don't like too much grain in fretwork but this one is the exception. Great job!
  20. Well Kevin, you are just a little further than I care to drive. Oh, you still suck.
  21. When you run out of storage let me know.
  22. Don't discount your efforts. You did well on the grain direction. I've seen Judy Robert's do a project with nothing but western red cedar.
  23. You could stack cut two 1/4" pieces. That way you get the support of 1/2" when cutting but have two 1/4" pieces when done.
  24. Welcome from Ohio. Nice variety of skills.
