I am 50/50 with the Dremel plunge router. Practice on some scrap until you feel comfortable or feel like giving up. If you have a good guide and good grip you should do good.
Rockler makes a small parts jig for the table saw. It worked pretty good for me. It's basically a small sled and is pretty safe. I still have all 11 fingers. Wait, no, just 10.
I've made dishwasher signs, Clean on one side Dirty on the other. I drilled 1/4" holes in 1/4" ply to embed the magnets. Then glued 1/16" ply on both sides. Works great, hides the magnets and doesn't scratch the dishwasher.
