  1. That's odd. On my computer changing the percentage made no difference in the printed pattern. Hmm. Well, I'm glad it's working for you.
  2. I created two 4" circles in Inkscape. One had a stroke width of 0.5 pts and the other 12.000 pts. After creating the circles and stroke widths I had to resize the circles to 4". Then I printed them out and both measure 4". The Z value at the bottom right of the page does the same thing as using the + and - keys. It should not affect the printed size. To verify this, I printed one page at 99% and another page at 24% and both circles measure 4".
  3. I don't have inkscape in front of me, but I know that when programming a cnc the measurement of a line (kerf) can be made from the inside, outside or center of the line. Try making the line of your object very thin, resize your object, and print. See if that gets you closer to the size you want. This is assuming your object is a line and not a fill.
  4. We are having a garage built and within a week of us trying to make a decision on some things the price of materials jumped 10%. Good news is our house has almost doubled in value due to the housing market.

  12. Patience. It happen every year. More reliable than our local forecasters. I had a screen saver on our shared computer that not only snowed but it accumulates. My wife hated it because it covered the picture behind it.

  17. My grandson, Kyler, is always trying to get into our bank. He even pulled a shelf down on himself trying to get to it. He is okay. Well, I decided to make him one for his upcoming birthday (OK, not Christmas but close enough). I also put a little money in it. Now, do I give him the combo or let him try all 1000 combinations? Hmmm.
  18. If you want the svg or a pdf just let me know.
  19. Will this work? Some of the detail may be too small, but you could leave out some of it.

  25. There are a lot of rooster wall clocks but none for scrolling. You could use one as a design and make a segmented version. A little dye or paint to make it pop.
