  3. Nice and clean. Awesome job cutting
  4. Excellent cutting Letters are nice and sharp. I also love the anchor addition that was a great idea!
  5. It would seem currently I have been using pine and poplar. Easy to get for me in the sizes I need. I will be getting a planner soon so I will have more choices since thickness will not matter. Jim
  6. Nice cutting!

  12. I was looking though my old Creative Woodworks & Crafts magazines and came across this one from Feb 2012. Just seemed like a simple thing to cut after all the things that I have done that take days to cut out. BIG is 3.5" x 6.5" and it was done in no time. Cut out of 1" Poplar finished with Watco Danish Oil Natural. My current favorite finish. Designer is Jacob Fowler
  13. Wow and double wow
  14. Wow very nice
  15. Very nice on both.
  16. When I use spirals I find the whole thing tricky
  17. I agree that is why I am sending my nephew the oval. The rectangle was done knowing it would most likely not be as nice as the oval but I was like what the heck I have two of them so I can do both and see if what I am envisioning is true.
  18. Thanks for all the great comments I have always disliked spiral blades but for some types of patterns that is the blade to use. The greatest strength of spirals is the fact that it will cut in any direction. Which is also why I struggle with it. But I am not so afraid of it that I won't use it I just do not have the confidence in my cutting when using them. I have made more firewood then I care to mention using spirals
  19. Nice job

  21. Pattern from Sue Mey - http://www.scrollsawartist.com/ Did a double stack cut and put it on two different backgrounds an oval and rectangle. 1/8 Baltic birch with Watco Danish Oil Natural is what I used for the mermaid. The oval and rectangle are pine with Watco Danish Oil Medium Walnut. It is a present for my Nephew. He gets the oval one I get to keep the Rectangle. The advantage of stack cutting you get to keep one!
  22. Nice
