  1. Great idea Peter, Same saw as mine and I also tilt about that height, but I use a single bolt at the rear of the saw. Then to move to under the tree for fresh air just undo one bolt and unplug the saw and out side we go. might look into the hinge idea after I finish with this art show. Hows that saw treating you, I have had one bearing crap out on me. Otherwise I love it.. ***Merlin***
  2. Lock the library I say....But then heaven help us it may be a member or past member I really hope not. Locking the library wood only slow them down, they wood only become a member and start all over again. ***Merlin***
  3. When I cut coins (not that often) I use metal blades. OK all blades are metal OK start again...FD-The Iron Man Blades..I found the jewler blades to fine. I kept breaking heaps of them. Nice cutting all the same. ***Merlin***

  9. That is truly wonderful, I thought it looked quite hard to do but then I spied the way the pieces were done. The overlays wood be my biggest problem. ***Merlin***

  11. Tried sitting but never seem to have freedom of movement. Can sit for short periods if the saw is a lot lower and use an ordinary chair. Sorry that does not help you though. ***Merlin***

  19. Hi all not bragging I have not been around just not making myself visible, been having heart/health problems. But I did finally get the Japanese Mantel Clock I started several weeks back, made from an old Oak bed headboard resawn to 5mm thick (a tad over 3/16 inch).   20. I stand at my saw and could not afford a foot pedal so I made one a knee pedal cause a foot one is in the way and one can accidentally step on it. ***Merlin***
