Travis I was going to ask a friend what he pays in NZ to receive SSW&C mag but he's out of the country for a while (lucky bugger). Any way a 1year sub cost 27.95 USD plus 8.00 p/p = $35.95 USD Todays exchange rate 39.25 NZD plus 11.25 p/p =$50.50 NZD That works out at $12.62 NZD per issue What is the mag 's price over there at the moment, still $5.99 USD That being the case can you get the post cheaper than $8.00 USD It takes up to 4-6 weeks for delivery Thanks for the offer Merlin

Attached is a cutting of Muleskinner's Gazelle, the 2nd one I cut out and it went wrong so I attached it to a borad and gave it the 3D look. This is in the wrong place sorry, I think I was tied last nite. Merlin

Yeah have the same problem here (NZ), now don't know if your pine is the same as your pine or not but it sounds like it. I try not to use tape for the reason you gave about the dust curling and building up. (that wood be the resin, pith and the tape glue all combining, a mess and pain.) Have a go without the tape and sea if that helps at all. Merlin

Thanks Travis and Mule, I have been doing a series of penguins and do have written permission and the artist has stated in the email that she doesn't think I wood make a lot of money from her work. So far she is right. LOL. About the disclaimer that is one I hadn't thought of, just written on the back that is from a drawing by------------ Merlin

Yah I'd be the worse in the lets not bother with ear protection today. Worked in a sawmill for 5 years and never wore earmuffs once, did try them but like the boss said can't hear the saw. Try to wear them more often now that's it too late but again can't hear the saw, I like to hear the machine that way I know it's not laboring. But YOU MUST WEAR EAR AND EYE PROTECTION. I'm old and the hearing is nearly half gone. Merlin

Hope you like it, It was a on again off project since Januarary. The first pic is of the centre piece for clarity. The front and back are made from ply that the saw nackered on the bottom, but I have learned from this one and will not make the same mistakes. This one has been sold and the lady wants another. Merlin
