    I need to know what size to cut the wood down so i can finish the other sides.This has been very slow cutting for me ,i'm not sure why.I'm going to try some very aggressive blade i haven't used in ages and see if that speeds things up.I want dearly to make some of these.I've lots of finishes to try lots are brand new .Ill post pictures of my stash i've been hoarding years now .I finally have a place to be able to get to them and use them.Practice practice .

    I've still problems with my new saw .Blades break way way way to soon.I'm used to cutting hours and not breaking one Now it's minutes ???

    I'm not even sure what thickness woods i should be using.@x4 seems to be too thick to make time scrolling.Maybe i'll try glued up,plywood .That looks great on seashells?

    The time spent seems not cost effective in cutting 2" x 4" white wood.And then getting the same shape on all four sides ,more time wasted.

    I started out making them in teak but that was slow cutting ,So i switched to white pine 2"x4" and still the cutting took forever.Photo's in bragging rights.

    Try different ways and show us again.top and bottom could be two different colors.

    I finally tryed some ,Slow cutting,not my speed so now i need to figure out how too speed it up.Then the doctores office wants some heart stuff

    Looking at the mini bird house has the wheels turning now long enough.I've lots of small hard wood chunks,scraps,pieces to use.Getting the shapes needed from the ones i've seen i'll need to have a pattern to draw up or work from.What do you think would look better?One solid piece or glued up multi pieces?

    Tight detail like this you chose good to do one at a time.Fabulous cutting skills and whoever did the design(you) needs a hand shake too.Marge is correct in her statement good as gold to them.Glad you see you take up such a good cause as this .It's thoroughly rewarding in the end.Good job!

    Great Gordie! I have seen just a few Noahs Arks since i started scrolling and they always were in the back of my mind to do one,Hope you can show and tell it when you find it !
