    Thanks DW,It's still fragile where the stand connects to the bird .i usually beef it up there but haven't done one lately and i forgot to leave more wood there.

    My new free wood supplier needs a project from me for his good customer.The lady has the type of home to where things fit or not .He was very surprised to see the names of her to children i made on the shelve.So he's going to try and eagle made from the wood she had him build something else out of.Each wing took 26 minutes roughly,the body the same and the base just a few.One inch cedar cut good with the scroll reverse #9 and then the Nicky name goes to the neighbor down the street.

    Don't that just frost you!!! My friend spent 1/2 an hour trying to put a bolt in my car on the carburetor and still didn't get it. i took the bolt and in 26 seconds or less it when right in.Same friend helped me with the same situation on the exhaust manifold.all bolts but one would not go in ,He put it right in .We all have our moments,Two heads are better than one, :rofl:

    I get more than i want from stores changing there shelves out, displays,demo's etc.I have a route everywhere i go where the pickin's are pretty good.I kill two birds with one stone looking for things on my way to and from needed places during the day.Furniture and tables plus tall stand up displays have yielded thick clear acrylics in beautiful shape from apartment condo dumpsters on the sides.I pick up way more than i'll ever need or use but if you don't have it when you need it your out of luck and money to acquire something.

    You've found a home ,No doubt about that.Be careful starting to scroll it's very addicting.I've made over 4000 items and gave most away! The scroll saw bug bite me bad!!!Makes my day to see the smiles on folks face receiving one of my projects,It beats going to the doctor.Show us your saw dust pile you made soon!
