  1. That's a great piece! Aren't they both the same picture?
  2. Excellent work Jerry. Very nice piece.
  3. A very nice memorial Dick!
  4. Thanks guys! The piece measures 17" x 8.5". The back is1/2" BBP and I ran it across my table saw an 1/8" deep to get the strips then painted the blue. I didn't put any finish on the back because I liked the way the grain was. The star frame and letters were staind cherry and 3 coats of satin spray poly. The guy asked if I had some old wood to make it look rustic, but I didn't. So I just covered it with blue painters tape and left it on for a couple days. Usually when I do that the tape will pull some holes in the BB, not so much this time except for a little around the top edge. He was very happy with it any way. That's all that matters I guess.
  5. Awesome cutting! I also like the funny framed sign!
  6. Finished this one up yesterday.
  7. Here it is finished and hanging.
  8. That is awesome from start to finish. Great pattern Russell and great cutting Doug! You used a 2/0 spiral to cut 3/4" oak? That's amazing in itself! I can barely get a 2/0 to cut 1/2" poplar. Great job guys!!
  9. I'm in Overland Park, Kansas. Some of you might know a few of my relatives. Aunt Em and Dorothy Gale. Not many know it, but Dorothy's trip to Oz was the first recorded case of the use of mushrooms!
  10. Awesome work Larry! I bet it wasn't an easy job, cutting it in 3/4" wood.
  11. I know they were 80 grueling hours for you Luis. It looks like most of the holes took longer to feed the blade thru that it took to cut. I would have done it probably 5 or 6 times, looked at the rest of the pattern and just chucked it aside. You did and outstanding job!
  12. Awesome pattern and cutting Gator! My daughter likes Bumble Bee best out of all the Transformers.
  13. There it is sorry!!
  14. Thanks everyone for the great comments! Jerry, I hope it isn't an issue. I talked to a lawyer friend that says if a logo is transformed at least 30% that it would be legal. So I'm thinking if I don't paint it the HD colors it will be transformed enough. Am I thinking wrong? I know a lot of you out there have experience in this area. Any comments on this issue?
  15. You never fail to amaze me Hans! Fantastic piece of art there!!
  16. Here's a project I'm working on now. Just finished cutting everything out and had to see what it looked like. I still have to sand each and every letter/piece. I'm not really looking forward to that, especially the smaller letters at the bottom. I usually end up sanding my finger tips sore also, lol! This measures 16.75" x 11".
  17. That's alot of crosses there Kevin! Great work as usual.
  18. Mighty fine cutting Ran. Yes, there are some awesome pattern makers in the forum.

  22. Thanks everyone! Penquin, that's just like a family tree. The lady wanted all the kids and pets in the family.
  23. That's looks awesome Kevin! Great work. I reall like that font.
  24. Thanks for the info Dan. Im going to try General Dye stain.
  25. That's a beast of a saw! I have a Craftsman 24" that weighs 95lbs. I can't lug it around anymore by myself. But, I can take a blade from my "GOOD" saw that cuts to the right and put it in the Craftsman and it cuts straight as an arrow. I sure wish it was multi speed, it would be my go to saw.
