  7. I generally use 240 grit then work down to 600 or 800 Grit & dilute my varnish with about 30% of penatrol to even out the finish & hide those brush marks.Not sure if you Guys can buy it over there but if you can give it a go.

  12. If you could find some thin coloured plastic & line it with that it would look nice especially if the light could shine through the plastic,just a thought Cheers Peter
  13. Nice work mate I found that straight lines were harder to do than curves ,keep practicing & it will all come together .
  14. Yes 4Ft is right I had to do Caterina in two halves to fit her in my saw.

  16. I used my favourite Font "Birds of Paradise" It is one I use for a lot of projects & I find it a bit more classey than a lot of others.Cheers Peter
  17. Just finished these off,I painted it in an ivory colour by air brush . The centre piece is a Steve Good pattern which I think looks ok with this, The overall length of this is about 4 foot & the wording on the centre piece is a sticker from the craft shop.Hope you like cheers Peter.
