I noticed that Steve Good has a pattern for hanging your apron on. i was wondering how many of you use an apron. i use one and i use a dust mask I have an old machine shop apron , It's is baat up but It does keep my close clean.

I have done some compound cutting and thay look sharp but it's just not my thing.

I don't know about cutting it but the drying takes about a year . you need it dried to about 8% moisture or it might warp on you.

Aquarium Air Pump for sawdust blower duty

I had a Porter Cable scroll saw and the pump just lasted long enough for the Warrent to run out I put a aquarium pump I bought at a garage sale and it out lasted the scroll saw which lasted about 18 months more and the saw went bad a total life of the saw 21/2 years. but the pump worked well and it was a middle priced pump, I don't know how old it was, I paid $3 for it. -

That would be nice, I have some wood that hsa been drying for a year and it is still at 15% and I want *% We have had 3 days with out rain in the last month and it is to be raining tomorrow I have walnut , cherry, maple and this oak.

I just went to the saw mill today and they were cutting white oak .and I got 80 ft of 1X8 lumber. Its green so I will have to let it dry for next year, and then plain oit down to 1/2 in" I have about 20 ft of walnut and 12 ft. of Cherry ready to be planed. I will be caught up on ;my scroll saw next week and plain it then, tthe wood is not drying right this year too much rain and humidity.
