  5. Every time I get a new piece of wood the first thing I have to make is a cross and come up with simple designs quick and easy to make and sell, hope you like these in red oak white oak and maple. Roly
  6. Steve you have to be aware of copyright laws with these people my friend made a plane out of a red bull cans and they gave him a free holiday, he did the same with a coke can and they try to sue the butt off him for copyright. nice work anyway. Roly

  8. Carl for a minute I had no idea what you were on about until I looked at the photo that's the measure on my bandsaw to slide my fence along. I love my bandsaw it's the workhorse of the workshop. everything goes through that I rarely use my tablesaw now. Roly

  10. Roy you slope the saw to what's right for you, there is no special angle everyone is different as long as the piece stays on the table you'll be ok. I use the EX-21 and I have a block of wood under the back legs 2" thick works for me. Roly

  12. Here a few bits I made yesterday and today with some cut from surplus bits of red oak and I got hold of some maple table legs to make the teething rings and crosses from. Someone eating off the floor tonight. Roly

That's Funny Dan I was thinking the same, I always go over the top, I'm trundling through loads of toy web sites and there's no way I'm paying those prices if it's made of wood I'll make it and then sell a few spares. I only sell to family and work mates to make money for new kit for the workshop and wood don't make any profit. I might do my first ever craft show soon I need to clear out my work shop of all the oddments. I've a question for everyone what do you use for price labels, wooden,card tags,stick labels etc I'm Umming and Arring so to speak what to use. Thanks Danny Roly

  17. Becky I would use a wood sealer first or undercoat then a light sand than another coat and so on until your happy. I'm sure you will get more ideas. Roly
