  6. you have a sharp eye and obviously saw the resemblances. I have to confess, both of them are me, but the bottom one was before I dieted and lost most of my excess weight. Do you think I look better now that I am no longer so fat? Dick heppnerguy

Welcome Faye, by any chance do you live in the state of Washington? From Arizona I send the message that you log on often and if you do, you will soon understand that we are a big family here that love to help and share with each other. If you have any scrolling questions, be sure and ask them, as we love to help each other, no matter their skill level Dick heppnerguy
  9. You saw where I welcomed you to The Village on another post, but I have only had short times on the computer lately and had not looked at the introductions until now. So, I will repeat myself and welcome you once again to our world wide family and hope to see you often on the forum. Tell your husband that we have quite a few people here that also turn pens or have in the past and I know a lot of them would like to see some of the pens that he has cut, too. Dick heppnerguy
  10. Welcome from Southern Arizona where it is still in the upper 80's to mid 90's here. So glad you found us and decided to join up. I see that you have not posted anything since your introduction. It is imperative that you post often so you can start to understand why we all like this site so much. It takes you commenting on things and posting some of your work, as you start making more sawdust with you Hawk, in order for you to know us and we, you, a lot better. Dick heppnerguy
  11. The only Halloween project I cut this year was the Steve Good spider and I already posted that a couple of weeks ago so I decided to show a couple I did last year. The first one is the skeleton on the motorcycle and of course the last one is a self portrait. Dick heppnerguy
  12. Tammi, your cuts on the cat and mouse look perfect. I think your picture ideas should go well at a craft show too. Good work. I missed your introduction, so Welcome to The Village Family from Southern Arizona Dick heppnerguy
  13. It looks like a good one. I often look for patterns to make from different medias and take photos of them and go home and make me a pattern from it too Dick heppnerguy
  14. If you are going to sell them for $5 each you had better head back out to the shop and get busy making a lot more of them. They will go really quickly Dick heppnerguy
  15. You knocked that one out quickly and it looks very good. Congratulations on another great project Dick heppnerguy
  16. nothing but good to say about his accomplishment. It sure turned out as well as it could possibly be done Dick heppnerguy

  19. great pattern. Did you make the pattern? Looks like one that many people would enjoy having hanging in their house. Dick heppnerguy
  20. nice work on both of them. You are in the Christmas spirit for sure Dick 'heppnerguy
  21. you talk a good talk when the wife isn't around. But you have the good sense not to do that if she is. Dick heppnerguy
  22. in your post from kkmcrafts, he sent a link. I noticed in the link they were advertising REFURBISHED ones for $250. Hey for anoher $50 you can get a like new saw. I think I would give that a lot of consideration, if it was me Dick heppnerguy
  23. you make some very interesting and unusual pieces within your patterns. I would like to see you place some of your patterns here and see the reaction they receive here. if you find there are people cutting and posting your puzzles here, (they would be free here) then you might consider posting an etsy page. That is my take on this Dick heppnerguy
  24. I made that one on it's original format and it came out pretty nice. I was not really happy with the decorative pieces as do to the size they were too thick but still looked pretty good. I sure can see how increasing the size would make it a more realistic item, as you have shown here. I am not a big gun fan but I do like looking at them. You did a great job on this and made it turn into a much better item as the results of looking ahead and making that enlargement. I will try to remember what you have done here in case I come across the same situation in the future. Very nice project. Thank you for posting it Dick heppnerguy
  25. a really cute and unique little piece. Should bring a smile to everyone coming to your door Dick heppnerguy
