  1. Marg. I listen to my wife when she tells me things. The problem I have is when she asks me to do a chores, she thinks I didn't hear her and asks me again and again. I guess she just does not listen to me as I reply each time she asks the same thing of me, that I heard her the first time. She doesn't seem to get it as she continues to ask me again every six months Dick heppnerguy

  4. As most of you know, my wife's brother died last month and we thought it would be nice for them if I made each of them a memorial plaque in their father's honor. So we will be sending these to them tomorrow. Dick heppnerguy
  5. Does anyone know where I might find a Monster Truck pattern? I am wanting on that is a rather simple line art pattern without a lot of fret work involved. as I am wanting to make a plaque for one of my great grandsons for his room. If anyone can direct me to a pattern source, I would appreciate it. I have looked and was unable to find one Dick heppnerguy
  6. Ray, We lost a 10 year old Granddaughter to a sneaker wave on the Oregon coast. It hurt a lot and we have not gotten over it even after 20 years but although we never forget her, we also have never stopped loving her. Time helps a lot but the pain remains in our heart. The loss of your own child must hurt even more. Out prayers are with you and your family. Dick heppnerguy
  7. Great pieces.. the lights set off your large one and really makes it look extremely scary. I was thinking about going to your house and trick or treating this year but I think your house is a little too scary for me. so I can email you my address and you can just mail to me what ever you are giving away at the door this Halloween Dick heppnerguy

  14. Bob, What a great project. Nice job and you and your wife had the privilege of working together to get it just the way she wanted it. You must be feeling a little better now, or at least it looks like you must be. Dick heppnerguy
  15. Now there are more positive cutting for you. It is easy to see how just a little time quickly brings things into perspective. A very nice job on this one. spiral blades are a little difficult to get used to but with more practice, you will discover, in a short time that they too can be mastered. Don't give up on them. They too can become a part of your regular fret cutting, if only in the real small and delicate parts. Love you know peace and congratulations on your new King saw. Dick heppnerguy
  16. Good work. Now go make the one you want to display outside. I use this type of font every once in awhile and it does play tricks on the mind. Thanks for posting Dick heppnerguy
  17. I enjoy both of these projects. I know you have done some great work with spirals and they can be a little tricky. On patterns like this car one, a straight tooth blade does not give you the width you need to have for the pattern to stand out when finished. Hence, the spiral comes in handy to accomplish this. I am sure you probably are aware of what I am going to say next so use it as a reminder. Cutting the wider lines first with a flat blade followed by the spiral will give you a nice straight line without the waviness that a spiral blade might leave, on it's own. Thanks for posting your two projects, I like them both a lot Dick heppnerguy
  18. yours came out really nice. I am considering this pattern to inlay on a box I am trying to design on Inkscape. I hope I can accomplish something near as attractive as you have done here. Thanks for posting Dick heppnerguy
